Fished last three days. about 6 hours each day south of Tipperary Point toward Fitz's. Out of the main river as flow is very high with a lot of wood and weeds. Trolled crawler rigs. Each day caught about 10 walleye, mostly 14 and under. Three in the slot 16-17. Realease all. Seems I did better in deeper water - 10 - 15 foot. Sheephead population is great. Did pick up two perch about 8 inchs - it would be great if we were able get a fishable perch population. Also picked up several white bass - all small under 8 inches. Out tomorrow- starting 10-15 feet. Maybe water coming down fish move shallower??? Also Nice weather couple days things may change. Also tried shad raps - in deeper water - only got a sheephead.
Cloudy 60°
Water: 64°
Water temp 64. Water depth from 13-15 adjacent to drop offs holding good number of crappies and sauger/walleye. Have to sort the sauger/walleye, lots of shorts but a few keepers in between. Higher water flow with all the storms. Watch out for floating debris.
Muskie- water is dirty after all the rain and boat traffic. Lot of floating debris/weeds.
Fished Saturday morning with my dad for a few hours, boated 10 sauger/walleye, a crappie, and a striped bass. Got out again Sunday morning before the rain and picked up 3 sauger. All fish caught in 6-9 FOW. No keepers this weekend, a lot of 14 1/2” fish.

Partly Sunny
Fished 9-4 Thursday. Tried trolling with Flicker Shad along train tracks in 13 fow, then by Breezy Point and Stoner's Bay. Couple dinks. Anchored on the deep hole we call Sauger hole on west side near top of lake and picked up a couple shorts. Been fishing LW since 86 and they just aren't there anymore.I give up. Time to find a new lake.
