Tichigan Lake

Gill, at least you caught keepers, we caught some fish, but nothing to keep, 3 or 4 small bass, about half dozen pannies, and 1 - 18" sheepshead on an ultralight rod, lol.
AND, OF COURSE, it was the usual chit show at the bridge street launch.people who don't know how to back a trailer up, people who try to launch their boat with the back straps still attached, we had to wait close to 45 minutes to load up my boat and get the flock out of DODGE !!!!
at one point , there were 6 boats waiting in line to get off the water.

Nice day on the river, but of course had to share it with the skiers, but nobody ran me over. Nice to see Sswprz out with his wife, enjoying it.  Caught a few slabs today.  Probably a dozen

Hey Gill, is there any  boat launch on tichigan Lake? 

First boat trip for crappie this summer with grandson. Didnt slay them but got five nice ones Minnows/bobber.

Yeah, I know all that Mr. Bass, but I still don’t like to keep any fish ripe with eggs no matter what they are. Also caught a couple walleye today and I let them go and their long past spawn.

Tichigan has an abundance of gills spawning in numerous areas.  Moreover, we should be wary of getting over-populated with small or stunted gills.  Harvesting during spawn-time may be detrimental to some species (walleye, bass) but a positive boon when it comes to the bluegill.

Little bit variety yesterday.  Gills, bass, and even rare decent perch. Pretty much all on redworms. Gotta love them cloudy days.
