Driving

To access it, you will need to travel across the Puget Sound from Seattle. Parking

Access to the campground during the winter months does depend on how clear the roads are for travel. If camping during the warmer months, be on the lookout for forest fires. Located near the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the Lyre River Campground will be your next destination to unplug and relax. A great fishing spot, anglers will find that this gem of a campground provides salmon fairly easily during fish migration season. Take a break from your daily routine by camping in your RV at this rustic, cozy campground with only 11 sites. There are two toilets, potable water along with a picnic shelter. Open year-round, bring Fido along for the trip as pets are welcome. RVs and trailers up to 20 feet long can be accommodated.

Sadie Creek Campground

Come and camp at this unique location at the Olympic Peninsula State Forest in your RV. A cozy, little campground, this area is first-come, first-served and has remarkable retreat space for larger RVs up to 30 feet in length. A welcoming place for hikers of all levels, the Sadie Creek Campground connects to the Sadie Creek Trailhead, the Olympic Peninsula 30-mile trail, and road system.

Bear Creek Campground

Be the one that got away for a remarkable camping trip on the Olympic Peninsula. Pick one of the 16 available campsites at Bear Creek as you find the campground nestled along the Sol Duc River.
