Whats For Dinner?

Thought it might be fun to see what everyone likes to eat. What are you're favorite foods? (other than fish and wild game). One of my all time fav's is Corned beef and cabbage, with red potatoes. MMMMM, got a huge pot with 2 shanks on right now, almost done! My second Fav is Veal Oscar, with white asparagus spears, crab, and hollendaise.

Wife used some venison steak and made "beef" stroganoff with peas and mushroom gravy over egg noodles, very good.

FRESH BLUEGILL SALAD AND RYE BREAD

Went to Lake George Lodge (use to be Lake George Tavern years back) south of Bristol on Hwy 45 and had a couple Italian beefs and fries, very good

Baby back ribs on the grill

Did the left-over thing tonight. All worn out after todays Cub game so didn't feel like really cooking anything.

 

Taki mushrooms, red onions, and chicken.

Smoked a pork loin on the weber kettel.  Did it like ribs low and slow. It tastes like babybacks. 

Deep fried shrimp, baked potatoe and peas for the veggie

AJ...Taco Wednesday here, ground venison and my homemade salsa verde.

Taco Tuesday for me tonight.

Leftover day 1 day later because of the holiday

In honor of national hamburger day. Two 1/4 lbs.and onion rings. Burgers were done to medium  and onion crispy.  

 Maple syrup salmon, crab legs and broccoli 😋

Had all three sons, one daughter in law and my inlaws for a burger and brat grilling.  Nice to have them all here at once. It's hard when they get older and life gets in the way.
